An emergency contact person is someone you authorise us to contact in instances where we have trouble reaching you. Naming an emergency contact does not give that person any authority over your account, enable them to execute trades or withdraw money from your account. Your nominated emergency contact merely acts as an alternative contact for us in case we need to reach you and the current details we have for you do not work. We are required to ask this as part of Bappepti requirement.
