What is a Do-Not-Exercise (DNE) Request?

A DNE (Do Not Exercise) request is a request to prevent the automatic exercise of ITM options. This request is useful if your account has sufficient buying power to support the exercise of options but you do not wish to exercise them.

To submit a DNE request, please send an email to support@heygotrade.com with the following details:

  • Email Subject: DNE-[Contract Name]-[Valbury Account Number]

    Example: DNE-GRAB $4.50 Call 13/12-VAF000AAAA

  • Important Note: The request must be submitted before the following deadlines, depending on the season in the United States:

    • When Daylight Saving Time (DST) is in effect (approximately March–November): Send the email before 01:00 WIB (early morning) on the expiration date.
