Simply by buying less than 1 contract. If Apple is trading at $100/share, you can buy 1/100th of Apple share with $1.

Gotrade enables access to US stocks from Indonesia through fully backed contracts under the PALN scheme as per CoFTRA/Bappebti regulations.

Users enter into a contract with PT Valbury Asia Futures ("Valbury"), a Bappebti registered broker in Indonesia.โ€จ โ€จValbury fully backs 100% of its contracts with Alpaca Securities LLC, a FINRA licensed broker-dealer in the United States.

When you buy that $1 of Apple shares, you enter into a contract with Valbury. Valbury takes your $1 and buys 1/100th of Apple share in the US, through Alpaca Securities LLC.

Alpaca Securities "fractionalises" the share so you can own very small units of the most famous companies in the world.

Fractional shares are subject to stringent regulations in the United States.

In Indonesia, the scheme has been facilitated by CoFTRA/Bappebti Regulation No. 1 of 2022 concerning Futures Trading Implementation in the Context of Channeling of Customer Order to Foreign Futures Exchanges.
