1. What are the service improvements for deposit process at Gotrade Indonesia?

Starting August 30th, 2024 we have made several service improvements to enhance your transaction experience:

  • Deposit via Bank Transfer: You can now use bank transfer for deposits below IDR 50 million to Gotrade Indonesia's account under the name PT Valbury Asia Futures. Previously, this option was only available for deposits above IDR 50 million, making it now more flexible and practical.

  • IDR-USD Conversion Rate: The conversion from IDR to USD will use the live rate during Indonesia's market hours (09:00 - 15:00 WIB). For deposits and/or withdrawals outside market hours, the conversion will follow the last closing market price.

2. Why deposits via Bank Transfer now can be made for amounts below IDR 50 million?

We want to provide more flexibility to our users by allowing deposits below IDR 50 million through Bank Transfer. This offers more convenience in managing investments, especially for transactions of smaller amounts.

3. What are the advantages of Bank Transfer compared to the previous Virtual Account method?

The main advantages of Bank Transfer are ease and consistency. You only need to save one account number for all deposit transactions to Gotrade Indonesia. Previously, the VA number provided would be different each time you made a deposit. With Bank Transfer, the deposit process becomes simpler and faster.

4. How do I make deposit using Bank Transfer?

You can make a deposit as usual through the Gotrade Indonesia app by selecting the Bank Transfer method. You will receive a reference code and can transfer funds to the Gotrade Indonesia account under the name PT Valbury Asia Futures, inserting the reference code as the notes / transaction reference. This process now applies to all deposit amounts, whether below or above IDR 50 million.

5. How is the IDR to USD conversion rate calculated?

The IDR to USD conversion rate uses the live rate applicable during Indonesian working day market hours, which is between 09:00 - 15:00 WIB. If you make a deposit or withdrawal outside market hours, the rate used is the last closing market price.

6. Is there any change in fees for deposits below IDR 50 million using Bank Transfer?

No, there is no change in fees for deposits using Bank Transfer, whether for amounts below or above IDR 50 million.

7. Does this change also apply to the withdrawal process?

The changes related to the conversion rate also apply to the withdrawal process. If you withdraw funds outside market hours, the rate used is the last closing market price.

8. How can I ensure that I get the best rate when making a deposit?

To get the best rate, we recommend making deposits during Indonesian working day market hours (09:00 - 15:00 WIB), where the IDR to USD conversion uses the live rate.

9. What should I do if I encounter problems when making a deposit?

If you encounter issues when making a deposit, our support team is always ready to help. You can contact us through:

10. Do I need to take any special action regarding this change?
